Six $1K Scholarships Offered

The Bergen County Central Trades & Labor Council Scholarship Trustees will offer six $1000 scholarships this year. Members of local unions affiliated with the BCCTLC, AFL-CIO, (which includes Local One-1) and their dependents are eligible and may apply. Three scholarships are in memory of Abe Solomon and three are in memory of Ed Purtill. Click HERE to open and print the application and eligibility requirements.  All applications and supporting documents are due by April 20, 2013.

Four $6K Scholarships Available

Grants of $1500 yearly for a four-year period are available to four qualified applicants (children of Joint Council 73 members, or their legal guardians) for their college education. Children of Local One-L members are invited to apply.  The application deadline is March 1, 2013.  Click HERE for the application and additional information.
